About the opportunity
Help4Homeless is a youth-led charity in Peterborough delivering £10 wellbeing packs to people sleeping rough in our city. As our Community Outreach Volunteer, you'll be the eyes and ears of Help4Homeless — heading out into Peterborough to locate rough sleepers, build trusted relationships with them, and report back so we can get packs to the right people at the right time. No experience needed, just compassion and a genuine desire to help.

About Help4Homeless
Help4Homeless is a youth-led community group based in Peterborough, delivering £10 wellbeing packs to homeless people in our city. Founded in 2025 by a 17-year-old, we keep things simple — every penny goes directly into a pack, and every pack goes directly to a real person in need. We're looking for kind, passionate local volunteers to help us grow.

Digital Fundraising & Comms Coordinator

About the opportunity
Help4Homeless delivers £10 wellbeing packs to rough sleepers in Peterborough. We're a brand new, youth-led charity and we need a digital communications whizz to grow our online presence, tell our story, and help us raise the funds to reach more people. You'll manage our social media channels, create compelling content, support our GoFundMe campaigns, and help us build a recognisable, trusted brand in the Peterborough community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Create compelling content - posts, reels, stories
- Support GoFundMe and fundraising campaigns
- Write news updates, press releases and community stories
Location & Time
Flexible schedule • Occasional video calls
What we're looking for
- Experience managing social media accounts (charity/community experience ideal)
- Strong writing ability - captions, newsletters, press releases
- Experience with digital fundraising or crowdfunding platforms
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
